SMK Telkom was established in January 30th 1993 with the letter of decree form the head of Central Java National Education and Culture Department NO.130/103/1993, on the 22nd of January 1993. Stated that National Education and Culture Department supported Sandhykara Putra Telkom Foundation to build Vocational High School with the major study of Telecommunication, which the daily operation will be conducted by Sandhykara Putra Telkom Foundation ( The Education Foundation of PT.
